Growing up, I never liked card games. I would dread whenever someone asked to play Monopoly or some other game. Well, here I am decades later making a card game called Sworple. The world needs a game that doesn't ask to think more in a world in which we already think enough. Too many of us are burnt out and overwork and need connection more than anything. One day while getting a massage, I had the idea make a word game that where you read by feel. I imagined the World Championship of such game. A bunch of people really in tune with their senses sitting in a park tracing words on each other. Sworple was born. I wanted a matte, simple cards that keep the focus on connection and the sensations rather than on the cards themselves. I also wanted to make the cards interesting and it was fall, so I made the first edition: Ghost Trace.
